OUGD503 - Design Process: Responsive (Fedrigoni Examples)

This is the 2010 Fedrigoni calendar. I think it is ideal for Fedrigoni and love how the designer has illustrated each of the dates by using a new piece of paper which is laser cut and also requires the audience to touch the stock itself and allow the number to pop up to create an almost three dimensional calendar.

This is the 2011 calendar which is extremely similar to the PPP resolution I created last year to answer the brief then. I love the idea of all of the boxes fitting inside each other, and would love to create something like this, however I think it is really important to try and be as unique as possible and create something which hasn't been done before.

Below is the Woodstock promotional calendar which was created by the one off studio. I think it is important that I take note of what they have created here as I don't want to repeat the same thing again. This has encouraged me to create a calendar which uses paper alone even more so now because they used ink last time.

WOODSTOCK PROMOTIONAL CALENDAR

We wanted the 2013 calendar to be functional; used each day, as a reminder of the range throughout the year. Inspired by the Woodstock colours, our idea was to create a set of notebooks and a diary; useful and informative.
We split information into categories of school subjects. The Maths book specified the weights; the Geography book detailed the environmental credentials and so on. The diary uses all 16 colours of stock, with 53 typefaces, donated from the best type foundries, to feature as a useful resource. All books are held together in a neat slipcase, where a pencil acts as the lock.
